About Me

I’m a print and digital editor and writer, and currently the editor-in-chief of VICE. I was the founding editor-in-chief of Tonic, VICE Media’s health channel, which has since become a part of the main newsroom at VICE digital. I’ve worked at Prevention, Health, About.com, and Time Out New York, and my writing has appeared in New York Magazine, GQ, Shape, Glamour, Reader’s Digest, Serious Eats, New York Arts Magazine, The L Magazine, and Everyday Health, among other publications. I had the honor of attending the Medicine in the Media course at the National Institutes of Health in 2011, and did the weekly street interview for Time Out New York for years, during which I got to interview hundreds of compelling New Yorkers.
